Is this safe to use with my Instagram account?
Yes. The extension performs the same actions you would do by hand on instagram.com, with randomized 3–4.5 second delays between each follower so the activity stays within Instagram’s normal usage patterns. We never ask for your password.
Why do I have to pay per follower?
Each follower added to Close Friends is one real action against Instagram, and the throttling means it costs us compute time per account. Charging per follower keeps the price honest — small accounts pay a few dollars; large accounts pay more because they take longer to process.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once for the followers you want to add. There’s no recurring charge, and you can come back later and pay again only if you add new followers.
Can I add all followers?
Yes. The free tier covers the first 5 followers so you can verify it works before paying.
Will my account get rate-limited or banned?
We throttle every action with randomized delays specifically to avoid rate limits. We have not seen account restrictions from regular use, but we recommend leaving the tab open.
Does the extension store my followers list?
Your follower data stays in your browser. We don’t upload your follower list to our servers — the extension fetches it from Instagram and processes it locally.
